Welcome! My name is Ariel Choi and I am a junior at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I am in the Hussman School of Journalism on the Advertising and Public Relations track with a double major in Data Anlaysis and minor in Shuford Entrepreneurship Program. I was born in Seoul, South Korea, but spent my life living in different locations including New York City, Paris, Seoul, and London. I went to Asia Pacific International School in Korea where I was part of the APIS Soccer Varsity Team, President of Abandoned Cats and Dogs, Fundraising Chair of National Honors Society, Founder of Business Marketing Workshop, Principle Flutist of Jazz Band, and many more.

At UNC, I am involved in the UNC Marketing Club and Sustainable Business Club and was part of the UNC Morrison’s Community Government as the wellness committee and treasurer.

Last semester, I studied abroad in London to complete my entrepreneurship minor while interning at TeaJoy as a marketing intern. My interests in the journalism realm include advertising and marketing.

My hobbies include listening to music and playing the piano. My favorite TV shows are Gossip Girl and Suits, and my favorite movie is Devil Wears Prada.
